Life membership to Club Locked is just £5. We charge only £5 for entry. £1 of the entry fee goes into the prize pot for Locked Lotto, our free cash draw. Approximately another £2 goes to our regular fixed and recurring costs. The remaining money goes to buying new equipment for our members to use and prizes. None of the volunteers take an income from Club Locked. We do cover necessary out of pocket expenses such as Parking charges and a couple of drinks from the bar when they are on-duty at an event.
As of 27th July 2022 we had £3,472.89 in the bank. Locked has no debts.
Each event in the past year had an excess of income over expenditure except for the December 2021 event because we gave a £250 Cash prize for the Christmas Locked Lotto.
Going forward we are on a sound financial footing.

Special Events
- Christmas – Dec 2021
At our Christmas Event we had a top Locked Lotto prize of £250 in cash. - Traffic Light Party – Feb 22
This was our ‘valentines’ but not valentines event. - Rope Bunny (Easter) – Apr 22
A Bondage themed event. - MRM – Jun 22
MRM was our busiest event ever. We did not know how many to expect as we were offering free entry to MRM wristband holders but they still needed to be members. We hit capacity about 90 minutes after we opened, people were queuing up the stairs and into the Lodge at one point. For security and comfort reasons we had to stop people entering and then had a one-in/one-out system.
Post event feedback in Twitter had people saying Club Locked was one of the best events of the Weekend. Going forward we will try to increase capacity for next year. - Blackpool – Jul 22
The Blackpool event was very much enjoyed by all who went, and a lot was packed in. Although we were prepared to subsidise the event it just about broke even financially, which is how we like it.
We are looking to have more outside social events, like Blackpool. A trip to Alton Towers was suggested and there was a request for social events that don’t cost much money, such as a picnic in a park or a group BBQ. These events compliment the social side of the Club Locked Experience allowing like minded guys to meet others both at and outside of Eagle events.
Marketing update
Members who buy tickets online are sent, if they opt in for it, a simple questionnaire after each event asking them to rate the event and if they would come again.
Over 92% of respondents rated the event at 4* and above, 93% said they would come again. More recent events had the higher ratings.
Analysis
We have had steady growth (37.8% increase year-on-year so far)
June MRM
Although we offered free entry for MRM wristband holders they still needed to be Members of ClubLocked. Our members who were also attending MRM got in free, and non-members who were attending MRM only had to pay for a life Membership. This was a great opportunity to grow our membership and give new more guys the experience of attending a Club Locked event for the first time.

Marketing Review
Most of our marketing is done on Twitter and via our Telegram Group. We have no paid promotion and artwork is done by our volunteers. We have excellent twitter engagement and growth over the past year has been phenomenal. We started cross-promoting other friendly and similar events and this has lead to them cross-promoting us back and ticket collaborations for special weekends across events. In all cases our members are able to pay the usual fee to attend Locked, they never have to buy a combined ticket.
Our Telegram Group has nearly 600 members.
2022/23 Chosen Charity
One of our aims is to give back to the community via charitable donations. We have supported George House Trust in the past. We asked for suggestions that members would like to support. Charities to help LGBT+ people in Ukraine was mentioned, as were more local charities like GHT and Mind. We will be taking further suggestions from members before deciding on which charity or charities to support this year.
