Photography Guidelines

We use your photos in two main ways, and we’re really grateful for your help in making them work beautifully for both!

1. Online Gallery on Telegram
These photos are shared in our members-only gallery for everyone to enjoy and download. We add our roundel logo in the bottom right corner. You’re very welcome to add your own photographer logo too — preferably in the bottom left.

For the gallery, photos should be at least 1280 pixels wide. They don’t need to be any larger, but we can always resize them if they are.

2. Promotions and Large-Format Use
We also use the photos for social media (X, Bluesky, etc.), on the TV screens in The Eagle (both portrait and landscape), roller banners, flags, and other promotional materials. These are often overlaid with event details and our branding, and they may need cropping or resizing for different formats.

Because of this, we’d really appreciate it if you could also send us the original, full-resolution photos without any logos or branding. This gives us flexibility when re-framing or cropping. When composing your shots, please leave a little extra space around the main subject — especially at the top — so we can add the ClubLocked logo without covering anyone’s faces.

What not to photograph

  • Please avoid taking photos of alcohol being poured directly into someone’s mouth. The Eagle has asked us not to use images like this.
  • Please don’t photograph blood, severe bruising, or broken skin, as this may be illegal.

When we need the photos

Our members are always excited to see photos from the latest event, but we completely understand that our volunteer photographers have busy lives!

We usually start promoting the next event from the 1st of the month, so if you could share your photos a couple of days before that, it would be fantastic and really helpful.

Thank you again for taking the time to capture these memories — we truly appreciate it!
